In different languages of the world, tea's name was obtained from two Chinese
words. One of which is 'tay'in, the Amoy local accent and the other 'cha,' which
is in the Canton accent. The word 'Tay' originated from Latin, Dutch, German,
English, French, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian, and Czech. The word 'Cha' is the
name of its plant, which originated from Russia, Turkey, Arabia, Japan, India,
Portugal and Iran (Persia).
Tea's bush is a small tree, which is permanent and without autumn, from camellia
type and Sinensis material. It needs to grow in warm and moist climates. If
these trees do not become pruned, they will grow to become a tall tree after
some years. From its leaves and buds, after passing some stage, tea will be
made. The product, which absolutely called tea, will made after passing some
processes such as withering, rolling, fermentation and drying on the leaf bud
and thin stem of camellias plant. |
